A young woman caused a stir online after she gave birth to a baby boy while on birth control.
The most amazing part was that she gave birth to her child who held the intrauterine device in his hand at birth.
The 20-year-old woman from Idaho named Violet Quick wed her spouse, John Francis at the age of 19, but they had no immediate plans to start a family.
Despite the birth control, they were shocked to learn they were expecting just one year into their marriage. The baby boy, Rudy, was born to the couple around the end of January 2023.

The new mother posted a video of her baby holding her IUD in his hands just after birth.
Even the nurses, according to her, were taken aback when they saw her IUD baby.
Violet captioned the video, “When all the nurses come in to see a baby with his IUD”.
In another video, Violet shared that she decided to take a pregnancy test as a precaution after feeling nauseous for two weeks.
She wrote: “So I had my Skyla IUD for nine months before I got pregnant and the reason that I decided to take a test was because I was feeling nauseous for about two weeks. I would just throw up every once in a while.
“I didn’t know what was going on and so I took a test and it was positive right away.”
She further advised other women to take a test if they were experiencing any symptoms, even if they were on birth control.

Meanwhile, a six-day old newborn baby stunned his parents by being able to grasp a feeding bottle.
Enzo, the little child, is able to maintain a strong grip on the bottle even when it is in both his mother’s and his mouth.
His parents were shocked in the video as they did not anticipate him to have this level of strength.
