24-year-old man bags two degrees at the same time from different universities

An American man identified as Darrell Landon Kelly made his family and entire academic community proud. He rose to fame after he bagged two degrees from two universities on the same day.

Darrell received a Masters in Business Administration from Williams College of Business, Ohio. He also bagged a Law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Ohio.

His friend described him as exceptional having done more than he was asked by becoming a lawyer and earning his Masters.

His mother Lisa Kelly expressed that she was proud of what her son had accomplished and how she supported him and his older sister.

The Kelly family who were dignified academicians were equally proud of his achievements. Although his mother and aunts had Bachelor’s degrees, they never bothered to get a master’s degree at the same time.

Among the family, Darrell’s grandmother had done something exceptional like he did. It was reported that she returned to university for a Bachelor’s degree at 73.

Darrell initially heard of the program that would enable him to get two degrees at a time at Howard University in Washington DC. However, he decided to stay back in Ohio and shuttle between Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati to save cost.

Meanwhile, an intelligent Nigerian lady, Chisom Okoye bagged a bachelor’s degree and emerged as the best graduating student of English Language at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Chisom, described as extraordinary graduated with a first-class and narrated her struggles in school in her LinkedIn post.

She said her success came with many struggles but she kept pressing on. While sharing, she noted that God delighted in making men.
