A Nigerian dancer, Usiwo Jane professionally known as Jane Mena has declared that a man who loves his girlfriend would not get her a valentine’s gift.
Jane Mena made the controversial statement on her Instagram page a day before St. Valentine was celebrated on February 14.
“A man who really loves you will never get you a valentines gift. Know this and know peace,” she asserted.
Slimcase, a Nigerian singer agreed with Jane Mena’s point of view, explaining that if a man is dedicated to his woman, then she no longer needs a gift because the man is already the gift she needs.
In his words, “he has become the gift. If he is with you wholeheartedly that’s all about val.”
