A new whip for Papa: Prophet asks church members to contribute N130k each to buy him a ride

A Ugandan prophet has asked his church members to donate money so that he can buy himself a new ride before Christmas.

The senior pastor of Synagogue Church of all Nations, Prophet Samuel Kakande, asked members of his congregation to contribute KSh 36k (N130k) for him.

The clergyman said only those who love him should contribute the amount but added that no one should give with expectations of a special prayer from him.

“Do not push yourself. I am talking about those who love Kakande, it is not compulsory for me to pray for you; you must buy me a car, No,” he said.

In a recent sermon, Prophet Kakande said believers bought his last vehicle, but it’s now old and needs to be replaced.

He said, “I want only 300 dollars from each one. We’ll contribute and then buy a good vehicle.”

To drive home his point, the man of God quoted from Luke Chapter 6, which says give and it shall be given unto you.

Prophet Kakande further revealed that those that can give above 300-dollar (N130k) could do so based on their abilities.

Lady Stops Paying Tithe to Church Saves Money to Build House for Widowed Neighbour

Meanwhile, a Kenyan lady identified as Mary Nkatha stopped paying tithes to church and decided to build a house for her widowed neighbour.

In a post on social media, she disclosed that she built a house for the neighbour living in a dilapidated building.

After she secured a lucrative business deal last year, she started giving tithes and offerings but stopped because pastors were taking advantage of Kenyans in the name of tithes.
