Abuja Unrest: Nigerian Secret Police uncovers explosives in Lugbe

Nigeria’s secret police has allegedly uncovered boxes of explosives in an estate in Abuja.

This is, according to Sahara Reporters, citing a resident of the estate.

I heard they found some boxes with explosives, and there have been ‘stop and check’ in some areas of the estate.

According to the Sahara Reporters, the management of the estate residents on Wednesday, issued a notice on this regards.

The management advised residents to report any suspicious movements, persons or activities in the community.

Today, one of the biggest shopping malls in the city, Jadi Lake Mall got shut down over security concerns.

Users of social media platforms especially Twitter has continued to advise residents of the state to be extra conscious.

For some people, this security threat concern might because of the Kuje prison break where tens of inmates escaped to the city.
