Famous Nigerian afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade known professionally as Asake has made it to number one in the Apple music top 100 charts deposing Davido’s songs.
The sensational singer, Asake is well known for his back-to-back hit songs since he came into the limelight. Asake songs trend almost immediately because of the love he enjoys from his fans.
It is no surprise as his newly released song shortly after ‘Yoga’, ‘2:30’ co-produced by Blaise Beatz and Magic Sticks, has knocked off Davido’s Timeless Album on Apple Music Top 100 chart.

Davido’s songs which have been trending and topping the charts since he released his album on March 31st, 2023, have been overtaken by Asake’s song, ‘2:30’.
However, after a few hours, Davido regained the top spot leaving Asake’s song in the top 2, with OBO’s songs in one to 16 position on the charts.

Reacting to a Facebook post by Tunde Ednut, a Nigerian blogger, netizens rushed to share their two cents. While fans of Asake agreed that he deserved the position, Davido’s fans were having none of it as they declared that the album, Timeless is already topping in international charts and will reclaim its position soon. Davido and Fave song makes it to top 10 on Billboard
Meanwhile, the collaboration, Kante between Nigerian singers, Davido and Chidozie Godsfavour professionally known as Fave, found its way to the top 10 hot trending songs on Billboard.
Since Davido released his album, Timeless, people have been streaming non-stop to listen to the songs of the sensational singer.
Well Kante, one of the songs in the album has made it to the top 10 in Billboard hot trending songs.
