Faith after a fall – Banky W breaks silence, gives thanks after losing House of Representatives elections

Music mogul and politics enthusiast, Banky W broke the silence after losing the house of representatives election in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos.

He revealed in a video to a church congregation that the service would be full of necessary thanksgiving and praise to God if he had won the House of Representatives election.

The musician was defeated once more by Labour Party candidate Thaddeus Attah, who received 24,075 votes, in the race to represent the Eti-Osa constituency in the House of Representatives at the National Assembly.

Banky stated that if everything had gone as planned, he would have traveled to Abuja to get an apartment and an office space.

The politician acknowledged that, despite his defeat, his faith in God had assisted him in moving forward and that he submitted to God’s plan.

The congregation applauded Banky as he carried on preaching the word of God and declaring that his narrative was far from over.

He wrote: “For anyone who’s ever suffered through a loss, a disappointment or a situation where things just didn’t work out the way you hoped… “Faith after a Fall” is for you. For me. For all of us. Please watch this and share if you feel compelled.”

He has such a supportive wife

She wrote: “God really did a glorious thing when he created you. Our mandate remains. Love God, Love people. Serve God, be of service to his people. We move. BOLDLY. Love you long time. ❤️❤️”
