- The youths of Benin have come out in their numbers to protest against the popular crossdresser, Bobrisky’s presence in Benin following his purported insult of the Oba of Benin.
- Last year, the socialite sparked a great uproar and outrage after he jokingly asked in a video that the Oba of Benin should come and marry him.
Many young people in Benin viewed this as an insult to their culture and have labelled him as someone who is not welcome in their city.

Many youths took to the streets to show their opposition against the crossdresser’s planned return to the state for an event, as word spread about it.
“He is a bad influence” – Benin youths protest against Bobrisky being in Benin
They were seen holding placards which conveyed their displeasure in such words as “He is a bad influence; We don’t want him in our state”.
