Peter Obi defeats Tinubu in Lagos

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has defeated the candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Bola Tinubu.

According to Channels News, Peter Obi polled a total vote of 582,454 compared to the 572,606 scored by Bola Tinubu.

Obi won in nine local government areas such as Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho, while Tinubu won in 11 local government areas.
