Breaking: Tinubu sweeps Ogun, Oyo with wide margin

Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated candidates of both the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party in 12 local government areas in Oyo state.

The results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in view of the general elections.

According to Channels TV, here are the cumulative numbers for each candidate in Oyo state.

According to the chart, Tinubu displayed a flawless victory with a total vote count of 449,884 with Atiku closely behind him with 182,977 votes.

Youth favourite, Peter Obi of the Labour Party came in third with 99,110 and NNPP candidate Kwakwanso came in last with 4,095 votes.

Likewise in Ogun state, the APC presidential candidate pulled 341,554 votes across the 20 local governments to emerge first.

PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar came in second with a total of 123,831 votes and Peter Obi with 85,829.

NNPP only managed to rally a total of 2,200 votes in the state according to Premium times.

Breaking: Peter Obi defeats Tinubu in Lagos

Meanwhile, Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has defeated the candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Bola Tinubu.

According to Channels News, Peter Obi polled a total vote of 582,454 compared to the 572,606 scored by Bola Tinubu.

Obi won in nine local government areas such as Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho, while Tinubu won in 11 local government areas.
