The Rutherford high school graduate intends to inspire other Black teenagers to pursue their dreams of becoming inventors.

He explained that he is bothered that not many of the top tech guys in the industry are black.

“One of the things that also bothers me … when you think of the top tech guys in the industry, there is not many Black people who you think of in that tech entrepreneur sphere. As a child, me looking up to them, I’m not looking up to people that look like me,” he said.

However, Jonathan Walker remains undecided on which Ivy League school he will attend after 27 different universities accepted him.
