Burna Boy speaks after being honoured by Boston

Afrobeats superstar, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has appreciated the declaration of March 2nd as his day in the city of Boston in Massachusetts, United States of America.

Recall that days ago, Boston City Council designated 2nd of March as ‘Burna Boy Day’ in honour of the Grammy winner’s “performances and advocacy works.”

The singer was formally presented a plaque by the Council at the Boston’s leg of his ‘I Told Them’ tour on Saturday.

Burna took to his Twitter (X) page and shared a photo himself lifting the plaque on stage: “I feel incredibly honoured and privileged! Thank you Boston!

“The goal has always been the same, to bring the world together. We are all so different but all the same! 2nd of March a.k.a Burna Boy Day.
