Azeez travelled to the United Kingdom in 2005 to further his education after attending a polytechnic in Nigeria.

How I started my restaurant

According to his story, he was accepted to the University of Buckingham in England to study business economics but could not finish his studies because he lacked the money to pay the tuition and other costs.

So rather than staying idle in London or returning back to Nigeria, Azeez partnered with a friend to open a tiny eatery. They called it 2Nigerian Boys.

He said:

I went to Yaba Tech and then Olabisi Onabanjo University [both in Nigeria] but I did not finish before I came to the UK. I travelled in 2005 to London to study business economics at the University of Buckingham. On getting here, I change to Accounting, ACCA, but dropped out.

Azeez gained popularity among Londoners thanks to his culinary skills, particularly his Nigerian Jollof, which has amazed many. He claimed that his mother taught him how to cook.
