The Management of Plateau United FC of Jos are optimistic of victory against visting Espérance Sportive de Tunis in the Caf Champions League on Sunday.
The management has assured Nigerians of a decent outing against the Tunisians.
The game is Plateau United’s first leg, second round of the CAF Champions League billed for Abuja on Sunday.
The General Manager of the Club, Pius Henwan stated this while speaking with the media in Abuja earlier today.
Henwan said everything needed to ensure victory in the encounter has been provided.
He explained that the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong is giving his full support to the team. That the support has been through prompt release of funds to ensure motivation ahead of the match.

“Esperance of Tunisia is a club with a rich history after winning the trophy several times,” Henwan said.
“We are writing our own history by winning this match to qualify for the group stage of the competition”, the General Manager enthused.
To ensure the realization of that objective, the management of the club has thrown the gates of the MKO Abiola Stadium open to allow fans to cheer the team to victory.
The winner of the match over two legs will scale through to the group stage of the competition.
The kick-off time for the match is 4:00 pm.
Rivers United and Kwara United are the other Nigerian teams on the continent.
Rivers United are playing host to Wydad Athletic Casablanca of Morocco and Kwara United are hosting RS Berkane.
