Guests at a wedding in Okija, Anambra state were horrified to witness bees attacking them which was captured in a viral video.
In his disbelief that “all these spiritual things still exist,” TikToker Chukwu Victor Uche posted the. video online.
The wedding day happened to be a market day, Victor recalled, and the ceremony should have been postponed.

According to him, during the traditional Igbo wedding, the elders refused the bride from receiving palm wine to help her find her husband.
After a short while, according to Victor, bees started attacking people.
He wrote: “My worst experience so far @okija Anambra state where we went for a gig (traditional wedding )the elders refused to give the lady palm wine to search for her husband ‚because today was their market day
“Behold few minutes later bees from nowhere attacked all the kings men & it wasn’t funny sha.”

In the clip, people ran to safety and were trying to fight off the bees.
Netizens opined that the lady should have followed the rules of the land.

In a video that surfaced online, the woman brought a cup of wine to her groom in front of their family members.
The ceremony was simple and traditional, and it took place inside the family’s compound.
