During a conversation on ‘Doyin’s Corner’, a podcast hosted by ‘Big Brother Naija’ star Doyin, well-known Twitter influencer Daniel Regha stated that he would refuse any monetary gift from music sensation Davido if offered.
Daniel Regha made this known as he shared his opinion on fraud, religious leaders, and celebrities.
Stating his reasons for not wanting to accept any money from Davido, the Twitter influencer spoke on the importance of keeping one’s promises.

He further cited Davido’s unfulfilled pledge as an example of getting people’s hopes up and then letting them down without an explanation.
According to Daniel Regha, Davido on March 16th, 2022 promised N20M to 20 people and failed to fulfill his N20 million giveaway pledge.
On rejecting money from the singer, the Twitter critic expressed that he had discovered that some celebrities only make giveaway pledges as a publicity stunt to increase their engagement on social media.
