David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian singer with plans to venture outside of the music business.
The 30BG singer is set to enter the sports industry after recently announcing the relaunch of his Davido Worldwide Music (DMW) company.
In order to find and develop new talent in Nigeria and around Africa, the singer established a football talent show with the help of a few business partners.

The Davido Dream Football Show (DDFS), the music star’s program, will look at male footballers between the ages of 18 and 22.
“The show is an initiative for advancing youth soccer, especially at the grassroots level through a designed curriculum that has the potential to develop fundamental technical skills and tactical awareness in young players, who are committed to competing at the highest levels,” a statement read in part.

At the program’s Tuesday, April 18, debut and announcement, DDFS Chairman Mr. Abu Salami revealed that the talent show would run for a total of 30 weeks, with one episode showing each week..
“First, we will organise a screening of those who will register. Once they are screened, we will organise a series of trials. From that exercise, the best among them will be selected for camping for the final show,” he said.

Meanwhile, an unknown person fired a stray bullet at the legendary singer 2face Idibia after online rumors spread that singer Davido had impregnated his baby mama.
The spread of the rumors simultaneously brought about an increase in the audacity of netizens to speak against the Unavailable crooner.
They boldly drew a comparison between him and 2Baba who is well known for having multiple children with different women.
