Desperate for love — Short man undergoes multiple leg surgeries to boost height, blames women for rejection

Moses Gibson, a 41-year-old man from Minneapolis, Minnesota, underwent a painful surgery in order to increase his height by five inches.

He spent about $165,000 on two intense procedures that involve breaking multiple bones.

Moses had been struggling with “heightism” since a young age, which affected his confidence and dating life. He tried medication and even reached out to a spiritual healer to help him grow taller.

Moses went searching for ways to grow and decided to undergo the surgical procedures despite the pain involved. People had made comments about his height, affecting his self-confidence and dating life.

Mr. Gibson almost gave up hope until he found the surgical option that allowed him to gain three inches after the first round of surgery in 2016. Despite the painful procedures, he believed it was all worth it after being unhappy for years.

The young man used to put things in his shoes to gain a little bit of height but found it insufficient. He finally gained some confidence with his new height and had long since been experiencing a sense of happiness.
