I do, I did, I’m done: Reactions as divorced women in an association welcome new member

A group of women has dropped many jaws after a video of the initiation of a new member into their association circulated the internet.

In the clip making rounds on the internet, the women were captured initiating another member into their divorced Nigerian women group leaving many in shock.

The women danced, jubilated and even did a cake for the newest addition in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A Twitter user, Abdullah Ayofe explained that the name of their association was “End of Error’ and their slogan was ‘I do, I did, and I’m done’

“Wahala Wahala Wahala Group of Divorced Women celebrating initiation of New members in what they called.. “End Of An Error” and live a free life in Port Harcourt.. Slogan of the Association .. “I do, I did, and I’m done”…… lolz,” he said.

Reactions: It’s their lives, let them live it

The video elicited a mixed reaction from social media users. While some argued that it was their lives and they had all the right to divorce, others were not pleased with their actions. See some comments below;

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian actor and cleric, Mike Bamiloye went to the social space to slam women who prepare more for the wedding day than the marriage life.

In an Instagram post, the clergyman explained that he is scared for the youths of this generation because most females do not have what it takes to be married women and focus more on divorce.
