A woman has shared a video clip showing how she anointed Ghanaian players before their game against South Korea.
The woman identified @thelmamonae_xo on TikTok anointed each Ghanaian player as they lined up during their second group game.
She covered herself with a Ghanaian flag, and while watching the game from her living room, she touched each player with anointing oil as they appeared on her TV screen.

Her actions eventually paid off as the black stars of Ghana went on to defeat South Korea by three goals to two.
In the comment section, many Nigerians and other African nationals said they supported Ghana to win the match.
One @Mulenga???? said, “I’m Zambian, but the way my heart was beating fast during those extra minutes?? Ghana making everyone proud,” while @Titi.k said all Africans came together to support Ghana.

Meanwhile, Juliet Ibrahim, a popular Ghanaian actress, took to social media to express her displeasure with the high cost of living in Ghana.
According to the 36-year-old movie star, Ghana is currently the most expensive country to live in in West Africa due to exorbitant petrol prices.
She stated that even though the entire world is in a global recession, Ghana has been hit the hardest by the economic crisis.
