American rapper Drake has won a whooping $2.7 million from his bet stakes on Isreal Adesanya’s victory against Pereira.
Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira at UFC 287 to reclaim the middleweight title this morning.
The stylebender won back the 185lb title after he lost it to Pereira, who has previously beaten him twice.

Following Israel’s win, that Drake, who placed a $500,000 bet on Adesanya to win, got a returned bet of $885,000 and a $400,000 bet for him to win by knockout.
Adesanya, with his brutal second-round knockout sealed him a victory over long-term rival Alex Pereira.
The win over Pereira is Adesanya’s is his 24th career win in the MMA, suffering just two losses.
