Popular female skit maker, Maryam Apaokagi, better known as Taaooma, has said that engagement ring doesn’t change anything in a relationship.
She made this statement during an exclusive interview she had with Legit.ng last week.
Taooma also revealed that it isn’t easy to survive in a male-dominated industry; but added that women could do better than men.

She said she puts in her best to ensure that she inspires others who want to have the same opportunity.
Taaooma also opened up on how challenging the year 2022 has been, but as a Nigerian, she can always push herself through any obstacle.
Being engaged makes no difference
During the interview, she said the engagement ring doesn’t make any difference in a relationship and is just a ring like other fashionable rings.
In her words, “Does it make a difference? Being engaged doesn’t make a difference; it’s just the ring.”
Taaooma mentioned her best food; surprisingly, it’s Amala with Gbegiri.
I love being comfortable
When asked about her fashion style, she stated that she prefers to wear something that would make her feel comfortable without being conscious of what people think.

Meanwhile, well-known skit market, Prince Dstn, aka Mazi Okeke, shared photos of a house and car he gifted to his mother for Christmas.
He sang the praises of his mum and said she is the reason behind his huge success in the industry.
He posted pictures of the car and house gifts on Instagram, and many people on social media congratulated him.
