Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe confused netizens as she celebrated Easter on Instagram, days after proclaiming her conversion to Islam.
Recall that the actress recently caused a commotion online when she disclosed that she had converted to her husband Kazim Adeoti’s faith, Islam, and taken the name “Hajia Minaah” as a Muslim.
She also admitted that she and her husband were also fasting throughout Ramadan and lamented how difficult it was to get up early in the morning to prepare Sari, the meal that Muslims consume at dawn.

The mother of two, however, took to her social media page during Christians’ Easter celebration to share lovely new images of herself in honor of the Christian holiday.
She captioned the photo, “Happy Easter Fam”

Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe left tongues wagging after publicly declaring her new Muslim name.
The 45-year-old during an interview following the success of the Ramadan lecture programme organized by herself and her husband, Kazim Adeoti known as Adekaz revealed her Muslim name.
In the video, Mercy Aigbe confirmed that she has indeed converted to a Muslim as she reintroduced herself with her name, “Meenah.”
