A Zambian football player received five crates of eggs after being named player of the match.
Kennedy Musonda, a Zambian footballer, who plays as a centre forward for Power Dynamos, received the award for his stellar performance during last weekend’s game.
Top striker, Kennedy scored the only goal during the Kitwe Derby between Power Dynamos and archrivals, Nkana football club.

According to Zambian reports, three trays are for the man of the match award that he won, while two crates of eggs are for the lone goal that he scored.
Who gave him the award?
A club fan who runs a poultry farm presented the crates of eggs to Kenny Musonda.
The 27-year-old top striker has notched six goals in the league for his club side so far this season.

Woman anoints Ghanaian players on TV before they won S/Korea
Meanwhile, a woman shared a video showing how she anointed Ghanaian players before their game against South Korea.
The woman identified @thelmamonae_xo on TikTok anointed each Ghanaian player as they lined up during their second group game.
She covered herself with a Ghanaian flag, and while watching the game from her living room, she touched each player with anointing oil as they appeared on her TV screen.
