Ghana music is a disgrace – Shatta Wale makes U-turn, begs Nigerians for help

Controversial afrobeat singer, Shatta Wale, has castigated the Ghanaian music industry and turned to Nigerians for assistance.

The singer took to his verified Twitter account to state his need for help from Nigerian fans and promoters on Thursday, January 18.

Shatta Wale, who is well known not to be a fan of his Nigerian counterparts has in the past, launched serious of attacks on Nigerian artistes and their art, including Grammy award winning singer, Burna Boy.

I need a record label

However, it seems true that the musician has realized that the Nigerian market will be of enormous assistance to his music career.

He condemned Ghanians, calling their music industry a disgrace, compared to Nigeria, where artistes are truly supported.

“Ghana music is a disgrace Mek nobody lie you,” he said.

While asking help from Nigerians, he added: “better we stop arguing with Nigerian Fans, promoters, etc and ask for help Me sef I need a record label.”

Many Nigerian Tweeter users welcomed Wale’s plea with open arms in the comment session, while others found reasons to school him about life.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy, caused a stir on social media as he shared his experience with a female soldier.

Though the singer took a liking to the female soldier he saw, he couldn’t find the courage to approach her.

This part of Burna’s story caused many fans to make fun of him. While others called him shy, some said he didn’t want to get into trouble with an ‘army woman’.
