The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has showed his support for chef Hilda Baci as she attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time.
Chef Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as known as “Hilda Baci,” is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
On Thursday,11th of May she begun a four-day ‘cook-a-thon’ at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State where she aimed to cook non-stop for 96 hours, with no sleep for four nights, in an attempt to surpass the current record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.

Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State also showed up to support Hilda Baci the at venue. He also shared some pictures on his Instagram page.
He wrote on his post:
I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @guinnessworldrecords for the longest time spent cooking by an individual.

Her dedication, passion for cooking as well as her desire to put our rich culture on the map by not only exhibiting our food but also the resilience, determination, energy and team spirit that has come to be known as the spirit of Lagos and indeed Nigeria is truly remarkable.

The Return Of Aregbesola To Alimosho And What It Means To Sanwo-olu’s Re-election
Nigeria’s minister of interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on Sunday, March 12, 2023, met with the stakeholders, leaders, and stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho local government area of Lagos State, urging them to rally support for the re-election of Babajide Sanwo-olu in the forthcoming guber polls.
The meeting had artisans, the Igbo community, party leaders in Alimosho in attendance. Addressing the stakeholders, Aregbesola tasked them to ensure the victory of the party in the state by embarking on varying mobilisation and door-to-door campaigns to educate the electorate on the importance of voting for Sanwo-Olu.
He stated that a win for Sanwo-Olu on March 18 is a move to further attract massive developmental support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s incoming Presidential administration, Lagos, and Nigeria at large.
