Hakimi: Nedu Wazobia says marriage is dead, women have turned it into poverty alleviation scheme

Nigerian media personality, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, said marriage has lost its original purpose and is therefore dead.

According to him, marriage has lost its true meaning and has become a way for some women to escape poverty.

Nedu made this assertion in a video he shared both on Facebook and Instagram, reacting to the divorce between Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi, and his Spanish wife, Hiba Abouk.

Hiba Abouk had it all planned out…

Nedu pointed out that Abouk married Hakimi with the intention of leaving him after some years, taking half of his wealth. This came after reports that Hakimi’s wife had asked for half of the footballer’s property after she filed for divorce, but the court ruled in favor of Hakimi, stating that all his fortune was in his mother’s name.

He emphasized that the current concept of marriage has been changed and people now use it to achieve their personal interests rather than forming a lifelong bond with a partner.

Nedu’s statement reflects the opinions of many who have seen the recent trend of high divorce rates and the financial gains that come with them. He believes that the concept of marriage has been altered by society, and women use it as a means of achieving personal wealth.

Nedu Wazobia says he can’t marry a virgin

In another news, the controversial OAP also revealed that he would never marry a virgin.

He made this statement in a conversation with his co-host and guest, actress Juliana Olayode and others in the latest episode of his podcast, “Honest Bunch.”

According to him, women who are not virgins make better decisions than chaste women. He mentioned that a woman who is s3xually chaste puts too much pride and value on her purity.
