- Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Odumodublvck, has confirmed his desires to be like the reincarnation of legendary American rappers, DMX and 2Pac in Africa.
- He said he doesn’t want to be “stigmatised” as “just a Nigerian artist,”, stressing that his ambition is to be a global superstar.
The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner stated this shortly after signing a career-changing contract with the prominent American multinational record label, Def Jam Recordings, in the US recently.

Odumodublvck said, “Back home in Nigeria, you have artists that are really stigmatised for using our cultural language. I don’t want them [foreigners] to say, ‘he’s Nigerian and he’s just Nigerian [artist].’
“I want to be like the reincarnated DMX…If DMX and 2Pac were from Africa.”
