I want to work with Tems, I love what she’s about: DJ Khaled confesses

Popular American producer, DJ Khaled, revealed his interest in working with sensational Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems.

Battabox previously reported that Tems won a Grammy’s award for the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her part in ‘Wait for you’ on February 6, 2023.

In respect to this, Tems was congratulated by prominent American artistes, and amongst them was Dj Khaled, who confessed his love for her music and admitted he was a fan.

I want to do something special with her

Dj Khaled, while singing the praises of the new pride of Nigerian music, said he looks forward to working with Tems.

In a recent interview, the producer expressed his desire to collaborate with Tems, praising the originality of her music and describing her as being “pure.”

“I would love to work with her, I want to do something special with her. I love her energy; her music comes from her heart and her soul; you can feel it,” he said.

Popular American artistes congratulated Tems after making history as the female afrobeats singer to win a Grammy.

She was captured in a video with Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, and Dj Khaled on the Grammy’s red carpet after winning an award.

The Nigerian singer shook hands with Rick Ross and engaged him in a friendly conversation.
