If you don’t have up to N500k in all of your bank accounts, you are living in poverty- Daddy Freeze

According to Daddy Freeze, a prominent figure in Nigerian media, any Nigerian who possesses less than N500,000 in all of their bank accounts is considered to be living in poverty.

The controversial on-air personality, Daddy Freeze said this in a recent Instagram live session that he conducted.

He claimed that his statistics are only waived for people who live in rural villages.

He went to say that in his opinion anyone residing in Nigeria’s big cities, particularly Lagos, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt, with a combined balance of N500k in all of their bank accounts, is considered to be below the country’s poverty line.

He added that the reason he considered those who have a balance of N500k in all of their bank accounts to be poor is because they cannot afford to live a very comfortable life in those cities.

Daddy Freeze advised people in serious relationships to periodically investigate and go through their partners’ phones to ensure they are not alone in the relationship.
