Nigerian singer, Joeboy, has disclosed why he was prevented from performing in Saint Lucia.
The artiste was scheduled to perform at an event in the Caribbean island nation, but his performance was canceled halfway through the show.

He took to his Instastory on Sunday to explain that his DJ had used vulgar language, resulting in his performance being cut off.
Joeboy stated that he and his team were not aware of the country’s law prohibiting the use of such words.
The 25-year-old explained that his DJ was taken off stage because he said, “Make some f*cking noise,” and that they were not informed of the prohibition on using curse words.

The organizers threatened to have him and his team arrested if they went ahead with the performance.
