A Nigerian journalist has called out Grammy award singer, Burna Boy for snubbing her for an interview in the Met Gala, 2023 in New York.
In the video making rounds on the internet, the Arise TV journalist, Kachi Offiah stated that she was so disappointed when Burna Boy ignored her yells at the glamorous event.
Recall that Burna Boy and Tems were present as the only Nigerian star at the Met Gala held in New York on May 1, 2023.

Well, Kachi was one of the many journalists who came to the event to interview celebrities, however, she revealed that she was the only Nigerian journalist in the event and was expecting the singer as a Nigerian to give her a little bit of his time for an interview.
She was shocked that despite calling him one of his nicknames ‘Odogwo’, he ignored her and walked away.
A quick check by Battabox revealed that the ‘last last’ crooner truly did not give her the interview she wanted and had a chat with some other media industry however, he addressed her while he was climbing the stairs as he apologetically told her he had to go.
His statement didn’t sit well with Kachi who stated that she was close to tears when he ignored her and everybody kept looking at her as she kept yelling ‘Odogwu’

Ronami Ogulu Persuades Burna Boy to Attend Met Gala 2023
Meanwhile, Burna Boy’s sister Ronami, a rising fashion stylist, couldn’t contain her joy as she shared her brother’s sensational look at the Met Gala 2023 on Instagram.
Embracing the night’s theme, Burna Boy donned a blue Burberry suit co-designed by his sister and her favorite designer Daniel Lee in homage to Karl Lagerfeld at the Met Gala 2023.
Ronami expressed her gratitude to Burberry for inviting them to the event and took the opportunity to showcase her brother’s impeccable style sense.
