A Nigerian lady has shared with the world why she decided to marry her blind husband who is also a teacher.
The young woman, Maimunatu Sa’idu explained that ever since she met her man, Dahuru Abdulhamid Idris, she has loved him and plans to continue till eternity.
According to Daily Trust, the lovebirds met through Sa’idu’s elder brother who was a friend of Dahuru.

The visually impaired young man gained popularity in 2021 after he confessed in an interview that he plans on getting his education despite his condition, he was then volunteering in a school as a public teacher.

Following the awareness of his determination as a blind man, Dahuru got a teaching job from the government and was even blessed by an anonymous philanthropist with a three-bedroom house.
Well, the man not only has a job and a home but he has also been blessed with a companion who loves him dearly.
“I have loved him from the first day I met him and I will continue till eternity. I believe that God destined us to be together and I accept it with my heart. He is the kind of person I want to be with in my life. He is decent, gentle and loves everything about religion,” she said.
“Marrying him is like fulfilling a life ambition, I promised myself I will marry the best person I love among my suitors. I will try my best to discharge my responsibilities. I will take good care of him and his entire family”
Dahuru mentioned that he was ready for the union journey with his wife and will fulfil all his responsibility as her husband. He is currently in 400l student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) studying Political science.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old woman known as Haben Girma stunned academicians around the world after she graduated from Harvard Law School, Cambridge, US.
What placed Haben on the world radar spans from her exceptional feat of graduating with a Juris Doctor degree (J.D) despite being blind and deaf.
Haben lost her vision and hearing from an undetermined progressive condition that began in early childhood.
