Women’s self-worth is tied to marriage – Twitter user shares intellectual point of view on relationships

  • A Nigerian lady sought sympathy through her intellectual point of view which did not sit right with netizens.
  • She opined that women’s self-worth was buried in marriage and relationships which caused them to be short-changed.
  • Netizens were in utter disbelief of her story and probed her with questions to further expose her lies.

A Twitter user shared an intellectual point of view on relationships with respect to women and how they value marriage.

The Nigerian lady, @KhloeUmoh shared a story and went on to give her reasons for having such an intellectual point of view

She wrote in part: “When you’re educated to attach life’s purpose to husband satisfaction, in-law satisfaction, children satisfaction, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and manage. So we have men threatening women with marriage and violence over food, and women, unable to leave the place of abuse.”

She shared that society has chosen males to be the preferred gender based on how society viewed a women’s worth.

Society valued women as those who should take care of the home only and were only good for cooking and cleaning.

An intellectual point of view doesn’t guarantee the validity of her story

Her intellectual point of view did not sit right with netizens as they reasoned that her story was fabricated and reacted to it.

@Tee_Classiquem1: “So all the time when she was at the psychiatric hospital, what was he eating? Sometimes I wonder what y’all stand to gain in all these unrealistic kinds of stories.”

@Irunnia_: “I can bet my life that this didn’t happen in dream, real life or another dimension. Even in the land of the dead, e no happen there too!”

@Waywardghost2: “Girls and lies 5&6 another day of something that never happened and will never happen.”

@EbukaMeansGreat: “In the history of things that didn’t happen, this is the one that didn’t happen the most.”
