A Thai man has made headlines for the wrong reasons after he abandoned his wife and drove off.
The 55-year-old man, Boontom Chaimoon, and his wife, Amnuay Chaimoon, 49, were on a road trip in the early hours of the morning, around 3 am, when they stopped to ease themselves.
The New York Post reported that the couple made the trip because they wanted to spend the New Year in the wife’s hometown.

However, after getting back into the car, the man forgot that his wife had also stopped to pee, so he drove off, leaving the woman on the dark and lonely road.
She trekked 20km
His scared wife walked 20km (over 12 miles) in search of help and reported at a local police station at 5 am.
Unfortunately, the wife didn’t know her husband’s number offhand, and the Police authorities tried calling her line, which she left in the car, but there was no response.
It was until around 8 am before the Police could get in touch with the forgetful husband.
When the husband realised what he had done, he drove back to pick up his wife. He apologized greatly to his wife, saying he thought she was sleeping in the backseat.

Man abandons pregnant wife for event planner
Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady called Ella called out a man who abandoned his pregnant wife to move in with their event planner.
The man, identified as Shedrack, put his family into a severe predicament after he pushed his wife out for a mistress.
Ella shared a lengthy post via her Facebook, narrating how the situation transpired. She included proof of the abuse the pregnant woman suffered and his several affairs.
