Reality TV celebrity in Nigeria and disc jockey, Tolani Baj, has clarified her contentious remarks regarding guys and club dancing.
Tolani Baj said she did not mean people couldn’t dance or have a good time at clubs; she only meant they had to do it moderately in an interview with media personality Jermaine on his podcast, BTS Reality.
She revealed that she had noticed a pattern in the violent behavior of poor guys in Nigerian bars.
In her words;
“If you’re going to have fun, don’t do too much. Be cool with it, have swag, don’t be razz. When you already know you’re all that and you don’t feel the need to prove anything in the club, that speaks volume. Men that have money don’t really like attention. If you’re are doing gra gra in the club and you want to show attention, I already know that your are broke”
Her opinion was accepted by some people however, others did not quite agree with her. They suggested that people just do things that made them happy.
Scarzonthehandz said: “Ok i get her angle now coz na so we dey do for club…we no dey too dance because the money choke.”
Exto_wyt wrote: “hahaha…Davido dey dance for club.”
_chic_queenn commented: “Torrh let people do what makes them happy.”
