Nigerian man narrates his journey to becoming a Medical Doctor

Titus Adeolu Adekunle, despite the ups-and-downs he faced, has finally been inducted into the Medical Profession at the University of Ibadan College of Medicine.

On his LinkedIn page, he summarizes his journey to the profession. According to him, he passed through medical school with a lot on his plate in a bid to become a well-rounded Doctor.

Titus had told his parents that he did not feel cut out for medical school during his first semester in 100 level. During that holiday, his mum took him from one medical doctor’s office to the other, and those encounters gave him enough motivation to see it through.

Titus bagged an award

Adeolu bagged the Emeritus Professor O.O Akinkugbe Leadership Award in recognition of his contribution to community life, leadership, research, and other extra-curricular activities.

He affirmed that Every role, opportunity, training/conference, competition and whatnot contributed immensely to his medical education.

Dr Adekunle expressed gratitude to God, his family, friends, teachers, and colleagues who have helped him with this phase of life.

Remarkable young man overcomes challenges to become medical doctor

Meanwhile, following his father’s abandonment at the age of 13, a remarkable young man by the name of Festus Ohan achieved success by becoming a medical doctor.

Due to his mother’s schizophrenia diagnosis when he was only four years old, Festus Ohan suffered through the foster care system.

His father later abandoned him when he was 13 years old after being left with him for a time.
