Ladies Should Have Their Own Money Before Marriage – Nigerian Female Pastor Asserts

Pastor Benita Okeke of Watchtower Prayer Network advised ladies to make their own money before thinking of getting married.

The female pastor criticized ladies for their desire to simply get married without having a job or career.

In a post by Instablog, the preacher noted during a sermon how some women dump their certificates after school.

She criticized their desire to just get married at a young age and depend fully on their husbands

Pastor Benita told a story of a woman who had been taking care of her husband since they got married.

However, many ladies were not pleased with the preacher’s point of view as they insisted on being financially dependent on a man.

In another story, a Nigerian cleric, Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu dropped some nuggets for a successful marriage on his Facebook.

In the post, he emphasized the need for young couples to be away from family members, especially siblings to build a solid foundation.

He advised that married couples whose marriage was not older than 7 years should have extended family members leave their house at once.
