From Lawyer to tailor: Nigerian lady dumps law for fashion design

A pretty Nigerian woman has traded the gown and wig to pursue a career in fashion.

The lady identified as Maryam Folashade is a graduate of Law but her happiness and fulfillment lies outside the courts.

After spending six years in the university and another year at Law school, she has decided to dump her degree for fashion designing.

According to Maryam, fashion design is what gives her joy and a a sense of fulfillment, which is why she’s pursuing it as a dream career.

Chasing my dreams

In a TikTok video, Maryam was filmed with so much excitement as she entered a shop where she sews clothes.

“A fact about me. I am a lawyer that is passionate about fashion,” she said.

Her video post generated a lot of reactions from social media users as many of them praised her for taking such a bold step.

Twins brothers bag first-class degree in Law

Meanwhile, brilliant Nigerian twins, Taiwo and Kehinde bagged first-class degrees from the University of Ibadan.

One of the twins, Sinuade Taiwo David, shared his achievement and that of his brother in a Facebook post.

Taiwo thanked Jesus for wisdom and other resources that have helped him and his brother attain such enviable heights in their academic pursuit.
