Anger was expressed on social media in response to a video of a Nigerian man berating his wife for not preparing food for his older brother.
In a TikTok video, a man approached his wife as she appeared to be clothing her infant and asked her some questions.
She replied saying he asked for semo instead of the rice and soup she prepared for her brother-in-law.

She claimed that because she just gave birth, was unable to prepare semo, which caused his brother to eat out.
He reprimanded his wife, stating she had no excuse for not preparing semo for his older brother, and he questioned her nature as a wife.
Couldn’t the older brother prepare the food himself?
The woman did not condone her husband’s words and fired back at him for not being understanding.
Netizens on the other hand were enraged and upset at the man’s disposition to his older brother over his wife.

Meanwhile, David Agbo, a young Nigerian man, threatened to divorce his wife and send her packing if she ever dared to disagree with him.
He recently said this on Facebook and explained that because he paid her wedding price and gave her a roof over her head, his wife has no right to challenge him.
She must kneel to apologize whenever she offends him, because he is her master and she treat him as such.
