A Nigerian man has made headlines after he married two women on the same day.
The man, identified simply as Nkanu, exchanged marital vows with Mary and Jennet at the same time in Cross River state, Nigeria.
Bazohure Playground, Abi Local Government Area, Cross River state, was where the polygamous wedding ceremony was held on Saturday, December 31, 2022.

The story was shared on Facebook by one John De Bravo appeared to be an eyewitness at the event.
Congratulations pour in!
John De Bravo also shared pictures from the wedding of the man dressed in native while his two wives rocked white wedding gowns.
He said, “this one shoke me oo, happening live in Cross-River state, a man wedded two wives at a spot.”
Netizens who saw the post congratulated Mr Nkanu and his two wives on the occasion of their wedding.

Polygamy Makes Me Happy
Meanwhile, a 77-year-old man named Andrew Ouma, married to seven women, revealed that polygamy makes him happy.
During an interview with Afrimax English, the Kenyan man said he got married to his first wife in 1966 when he was only 18 years of age.
The proud father of 30 children said having more than one wife is a way of paying tribute to his mother, and it makes him complete.
