After 35 years of waiting, a Nigerian pastor and his wife were ecstatic to welcome their first child.
The pastor, Rev. Jacob Kabra, and his wife Mary Jacob Kabra tried to procreate for almost three decades but failed to.
They are members of the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria CRC-N RCC in Takum, Taraba State.

The happy news was posted on Facebook by relatives and church members on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Our God doesn’t sleep
Their wedding took place at CRC-N Lufu in Taraba State’s Takum Local Government Area on April 9, 1988.
After 35 years of marriage, they at last welcomed their first child on March 31, 2023.
“THANKSGIVING AND NAMING CEREMONY. The Rev. Dr. Jacob M. I Kabra Chairman CRC-N RCC Takum who got married on the 9th April, 1988 at CRC-N Lufu of Takum LGA, Taraba State, welcomed their first fruit on 31st March, 2023,” he wrote.
“By the grace of God, the programme is scheduled as follows: Thank you Jesus for this mighty miracle, after a period of 35yrs of marriage you still make it possible.” One Paul G. Musa wrote on Facebook.
“If you doubt the faithfulness of God, he is not wicked to foget your labor of love. This is the testament of what he is doing now, Those of you trusting God for same blessing, he is your neighborhood! Yours is next”, another user wrote.

Actor, Kiki Bakare welcomes first child
Meanwhile, actor, Okikiola Bakare, commonly known as Kiki Bakare and his partner just had their first child.
The Yoruba actor informed his fanbase of the good news on his Instagram page.
The birth of his son, in his opinion, was his greatest blessing to date.
