A couple has set a new example of how to hold a wedding without breaking the bank by holding their wedding ceremony in a family’s compound.
In a video that surfaced online, the woman brought a cup of wine to her groom in front of their family members.
The ceremony was simple and traditional, and it took place inside the family’s compound.

During the ceremony, the bride knelt down before her groom as a sign of respect and love.
After kneeling down, she gave the groom the cup and they both drank from it. The groom reciprocated by giving her some money and the cup.
An elderly person beside him quickly corrected him that he was not meant to give her the cup.Â
The couple holding themselves hand in hand went to the bride’s parents who blessed them while kneeling.Â
