MaeDell, a 98-year-old oyinbo matriarch, got to meet her great-great-great-granddaughter for the first time. She has over 230 great-grandchildren, a testament to her enduring legacy.

The poignant photograph captured MaeDell cradling 7-week-old Zhavia Whitaker. The baby’s doting mother, adoring aunt, devoted grandmother, and proud great-grandmother were present.

This heartening encounter was a heartwarming and momentous occasion.

Grandma was 16 years old when she married  50-year-old widower grandpa with 10 children.

Gracie Howell visited family in Kentucky and took a photo of members from 7 weeks to 98 years old. 

Unfortunately, his first wife died giving birth to conjoined twins at home, and the babies didn’t survive. MaeDell, Howell’s grandma, had 13 children with her first husband and lived without modern amenities. Howell shared these details about her family’s history.

In another story, a young oyinbo lady surprised many people online after she showed the moment she backed her baby the Nigerian way in public. 

After tying the girl to her back, the lady known as @martinejarim on TikTok walked amid other white people who could not stop looking at her. 

Many people took photos of her and her baby from afar and along the way, a woman stopped them to play with the kid.
