Pains of motherhood: After a difficult labor, the mother refuses to hold her newborn

A viral video showed the moment a new mother turned down the chance to embrace her child immediately after delivery.

Just a few minutes after a difficult labour, a nurse delivered the baby to the new mother in the hospital ward but she refused to touch or hold the infant.

People expected her to embrace her baby and be so happy for the bundle of joy, but instead, she told the nurse to keep the child instead

The mother continued to frown and avoided the baby despite the nurse’s repeated attempts.
