I became a fool for my marriage of 39 years to succeed – Pastor Julie says as she gives marital advice

Pastor Julie, a clergywoman from Nigeria, claimed that her 39 years of marriage were successful because she chose to act foolish.

In a popular video, Pastor Julie gave counsel to married couples based on her own experience of being married for 39 years. 

She claimed that in order for her marriage to succeed, she had to play the fool.

She added that in order to focus on developing a solid and healthy relationship with her husband, she had to learn to let go of her pride and ego.

Pastor Julie counseled playing the fool even when you know you are right in order to maintain a marriage.

Marriage requires two intentional people 

“I have come to realize in these 39 years of being with my husband…I realized I had to play the fool for my marriage to work, playing the fool even when I know I am right.

“Foolishness in a relationship. For you to sustain your marriage, you have to play the fool. Playing the fool when even you know your right from your left. The man is claiming right, you are claiming right, it will not work,” she said.

Netizens disagreed with Pastor Julie and stressed that it was better if both individuals were willing to work on themselves.

Pastor Paul Enenche heals a lady with broken neck at his polling unit

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian pastor, Paul Enenche, has set the internet on fire after allegedly performing a miracle at his polling unit.

While Nigerians trooped outside on the 25th of February, 2023 to decide who will be their next leader, the clergyman allegedly did more than vote as he healed a woman with a broken neck.

The video, which was shared on Instagram by the pastor’s daughter, Deborah Enenche, captured the sick woman who was with a neck brace healed shortly after Pastor Enenche placed his hands on her.
