Paying tithes with sport betting money is a bribe before God- Mike Bamiloye

Mike Bamiloye, a popular Nigerian televangelist has advised Christians to desist from paying tithes with sports betting winning as it is a bribe before God.

Bamiloye made this claim via an Instagram post where he wondered why some Christians think they can appease God, blindfold him with gains of betting. To him, it is bribery, an act that is wrong in the eyes of God.

Many netizens flooded the comment section of the televangelist following the post. Each giving their two cents on the matter.

One user said, Betting is not a sin to me, what is faith? What is putting value on your faith?

Another said, But can corrupt political office holders, civil servants, and others pay tithes from their ill-gotten monies?… Should we pay tithes to fake pastors and bishops? Should tithes be used to invest in real estates by churches?

One user also commented, Mr too know; bible reference that back that up with good explanation.
