Persecuted Nigerian family faces deportation from Canada, begs for asylum in sad video

The Canadian government threatened to deport a persecuted Nigerian family, the Ogunkoya family living there, immediately.

The persecuted Nigerian family begged for asylum in a video, detailing the terrifying situations they had to deal with back home.

In a video clip posted on TikTok by @glowwriyah, the mother, who converted from Islam to Christianity, revealed her heartbreaking story of being abandoned by her family as a result of her conversion to Christianity.

When she made an effort to make amends with her father in 1999, he responded violently and assaulted her.

She said: “l am an infidel as far as my family is concerned, I converted from Islam to Christianity. My family disowned me and in 1999 I went to my dad. I wanted to get married. When I walked into the room he was ironing his shirt or whatever.

“He had actually thought I had changed my mind and I had come to apologize for changing to Christianity. But when he realized that, that wasn’t the case he was angry. He hit me.

“My kids started telling me stories about some people and strangers walking. up to them and telling them, “Tell your parents that if you want to be alive, tell your parents to convert back to Islam.”

Persecuted Nigerian family seeks asylum

The persecuted Nigerian family begged the Canadian government to rethink their deportation because they fear for their safety and knew that going back to Nigeria would cause them great damage or even death.

Netizens weighed in on the persecuted Nigerian family plight and some concluded that they will be deported as Canada does not play.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady who resides in Italy shared how she ended up getting pregnant for her man so he won’t be deported back to Nigeria.

In a TikTok video, the woman whose username is Pat explained how she ended up getting married to her man who is 18 years younger than she is.

According to her, she met her husband in a camp when he was about to be deported, she shared that at that time they were not dating nor were they friends.
