Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has come under fire for promising to follow the policies that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration already implemented.
The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) made this charge in a statement issued under Niyi Akinsiju.
It claimed that Obi’s recent interview on CNN, a US news network, demonstrated his lack of awareness of the state of the nation he aspires to rule.
Akinsiju expressed his astonishment that Peter Obi who had been ranting about Nigeria’s problems lacked creativity in his proposed solutions.

Niyi noted that the Labour candidate encouraged Nigerians to return to agriculture to rescue millions from poverty and reduce the cost of government.
He claimed that these initiatives are those of the Buhari administration, which he enjoys criticizing.
While discussing several other governmental issues, Niyi urged Nigerians to press opposition figures to be more specific in their election promises.
