Peter Obi wins Nasarawa, Abia, and Cross River State

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won the Saturday presidential and house of assembly election in Cross River, Nasarawa and Abia State.

Peter Obi defeated the All Progressive Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

According to Punch, in Cross River State, Labour Party had total votes of 179,917, the closest opponent which was APC garnered 130,520 votes and PDP got 95,425 votes.

The presidential election results in Nasarawa State were announced in Lafia on Monday by the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) collation officer, Prof. Ishaya Tanko revealing Peter Obi obtained 191,361 votes, Bola Tinubu secured 172,922 votes and Atiku Abubakar had 147,093 votes.

The results officially announced by the INEC in Abia State on Monday, February 27 revealed that Labour Party polled 327,095 votes, way ahead of its of the Peoples Democratic Party, which had 22,676 votes.

Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated candidates of both the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party in 12 local government areas in Oyo state.

The results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in view of the general elections.
